Homecoming

HO HO HO... I am finally back in Penang after a long 12 hour flight in this plane.

Just 5 minutes after the plane left Heathrow Airport in London, I looked out my window to catch a last glimpse of the London I knew.

It actually looked quite beautiful from up here... and it looked a lot more "green" with plenty of trees around the buildings.

Very very unlike the concrete jungle that I remember.

Nevertheless I quickly got bored of the view and shut my window to get some sleep.

I woke up almost 12 hours later just to open my window and my blurry eyes caught something familiar.

YES!!! PENANG ISLAND!!
Look carefully at the picture and you can see the shape of the top part of the island which is just exactly like how the island looks like in maps. WOOHOO!!!

As promised, the first thing I did when I got home was to stand on my favourite spot.

After standing at my favourite spot for what must've been an eternity, I went back to my room and looked at all the little things I had that reminded me of the past.

There were the old photo albums that reminded me of my school days and all the girlfriends I have had in the past before my baby.

There were my table tennis medals and trophies that reminded me of the sport I used to take very seriously.

Sometimes I won...
and sometimes I lost and was forced to take home the Second prize

But it had always been fun

Then there was the stuffed Hamtaro that my friends bought me for a birthday present years ago just because I once mentioned that Hamtaro was cute.
This served as a quick reminder to me that tomorrow I will be 22. The age where I would have to start thinking of where to go in my life and how I'm going to make or lose my money.

Yes... the 6.6.06 or 2006.6.6. (depending on how you look at it) is my birthday which was why many of my friends back in the UK started calling me the Anti-Christ

(also because it happens to be the opening day for a horror film about the Anti-Christ called The Omen)
Ah yes... I can see the logic now:
The Anti-Christ is a Malaysian Chinese who thinks Hamtaro is cute...

I have really intelligent friends...

I can just imagine the evil little boy in The Omen spotting a Hamtaro halfway in the movie and suddenly saying...

"OOOOOoooh HAMTARO!!! SOOO CUTE!!!"

Yes... that would be a VERRRYYY scary movie.

No way would I watch that kind of movie... no no... too scary for me...
