Should we or shouldn't we avoid Basic Instinct 2

About 14 years ago Sharon Stone was featured in Basic Instinct: a movie that shot her to stardom and even won her an Oscar nomination

(Before Basic Instinct, Sharon Stone was a relative nobody and she was reportedly paid only $500,000 for her role in the movie).

Now for those of you who have never heard of Basic Instinct...

It was basically a movie about Sharon Stone going around seducing just about every lead/supporting actor in the movie. She was 34-years old then so it was pretty understandable that she made most guys beyond excited. But now (14 years later) we have Basic Instinct 2 that's scheduled to be out somewhere at the end of March or early April. What's wrong with that you may ask... well... it depends... If you're a little bothered that you might be seeing naked scenes of a 48-year old Sharon Stone, then... the movie is NOT for you.

But if you're not bothered at all or if naked old women excite you... then by all means watch it the day it comes out and bring some tissue paper with you.

Everyone has been making a big fuss about Sharon Stone being too old to act in a movie that portrays tons of nudity and sex scenes with her in them. But the question is... how old is too old...?

She is 48 years old... not 78 years old. In Sex and The City, Kim Catrall played the "slutty" Samantha Jones and was naked in soo sooo many scenes but that didn't bother most people did it...?

It bothered me for the first time but after I got that 'biasedness' out of my head... I began to like Samantha Jones. She was the funniest of all the 4 women in Sex and The City.

(YES YES... I watched Sex and The City because I used to share a flat with two girls that won the "remote-control fight"... and yes yes I betrayed my manhood for that... but I really did like the show.. really..)

So the question is... would you guys go watch Basic Instinct 2?
