Water - Source of Life - Part 2

Ok I apologize for my gruntings yesterday. It was already 2 am in the morning when I lost my post and it was a hard day starting with exam yesterday morning. 2 more papers day after tomorrow, tough luck........... anyway..........

Whoosh, let me attempt to remember what I typed yesterday.

    ----------------------------------------------------

Boss Lepton is a water drinker.

Ok that statement sounds a bit redundant, it's not like plain water = coke = petaling street loh han guo drink.

However, reading this article on Malaysia-Today really hints at the soon to be crisis for Malaysia.

It really shows how pollution of our rivers, which had its fair share of media spotlight a few months ago, is really going to affect our life.

    Did I say pollution?

    I meant er.........

Ahh......... Juizhaigou Valley in Si Chuan, China. Beautiful isn't it? Look at the water, that's what I call sparkling BLUE. I bet our children or grandchildren would never have the chance to see such scenery ever again. Oh wait........ there's photographs, still it doesn't beat looking at it with your own eyes.

Contrast the scenery above with this

I would like to quote Dr Koh Tsu Koon on one of his speeches many many years ago, but I really can't remember word to word what did he say.

He said something about twenty years ago, when Boss Stewie's homeland was a pristine and beautiful little island dubbed the "Pearl of the Orient", the drains were so clean they even have guppies swimming in them. Guppies keep the mosquito population in check as they feed on mosquito larvaes, am I correct?

Now that explains why we have denggi problems in Malaysia la.

Problems? We at Leng Mou would like to differ to that, we call it PROGRESS and DEVELOPMENT. We want First World status ma, everybody has to sacrifice a bit here and there right?

Sacrifice........ No wonder that's the concept of First World hotel in Genting. Aiya Uncle Lim(First World Hotel), you're so smart, sacrifice a bit of space from each room so we can tell everybody that we've been to the hotel which has the MOST ROOMS in the world.

Look at the bigger picture, water from drains flow into rivers. And water from rivers flow into water processing plants which can then be turned into our everyday drinking water. We are actually drinking this shit from our tap???

Ok time for plan B, as stated in the Malaysia-Today article above.

Time for Malaysians to start consuming MINERAL WATER as our main source of drinking water. Yay, that would mean an opportunity for me and Boss Stewie to plunge into this industry and make a hit-and-run.

Oh darn, Spritzer beat us to it, along with many many other smaller bottled water production companies.

Naturally, the next best alternative in this sense is to point to the luxury brand department.

Any industry in this world can be separated into 2 departments - products for the common population, and products for the rich and famous. For every 20 protons there is 1 Mercedes/BMW. For every 1000 Mercedes there is 1 Bugatti Veyron. And the pyramid goes up.

Now for one, the premium selling luxury product is much much higher.

Like for instance, when all of us use cheap condoms, even free in some cases,

Er, Pregnancy test comes as complimentary, Boss Stewie would be using:

What's Inside: 2 Kimono Special, 2 Pleasure Plus, 2 Durex Enhanced Pleasure, 2 Durex High Sensation, 1 Hot Rod Condom, 1 Inspiral Condom

Price: a whooping US$ 39.95 to prevent pragnancy, not too expensive, stated Boss Stewie.

So there is ALWAYS a market for luxury brands in ANY industry.

I didn't really came accross this idea before until one of Leng Mou's readers Saiful told me that he spent a whooping 240 Japanese Yen, equivalent of US$2.40 for a bottle of mineral water. I was like........ WTF.........

Hail the Oxygizer. It claims to have approx 150mg of oxygen in every 1000ml of water. Oh great, that makes a lot of difference to my life.

Wah oxygen is REALLY cheap expensive hor?

Ok so somebody tell me, who do some celebrities only drink Evian? Am I just making things up when I say some celebrities even use Evian mineral water to shower???? Use Oxygizer next time, somebody go tell Mariah Carey that. Tell her it has "150mg of oxygen in every 1000ml of water", gonna be great for her voice.

Some people just took things too far.

On the left is Kona Nigari, supposedly the KING of luxury mineral water. Well you see, you couldn't actually call it mineral water, it's actually just deep sea water off the shore of Hawaii. No you do not drink it directly, you add it into your Evian.

    Price: US$33.50 for 2 ounces

It was the king, until this fella on the right dethroned it. Hail Golden 'C' Lithium structured water.

    Price: US$15 for 1/2 ounce = US$ 60 for 2 ounces.

Woo yay, I hope if I drink that I would become Superman.

    Or Batman.

Heck why not become a hybrid, like everything in this world is right? Hybrid cars, hybrid "anything that can save the world from destruction".

Oh hecks. Boss Stewie and me, we don't have that kind of expertise in producing that kind of water. At most we could buy a Tongkat Ali production plan and rename it to ViaBra, and we still have to convince people that drinking our product can keep you up for at least an hour.

For now, we have to look to our neighbour(Singapore) for ways we can avoid burning our pockets.

In fact, they really have quite a good plan. I'm actually very impressed.

    At least it's drinkable ok?

    Hey Malaysians, thirsty anyone?

p.s. ok la Koyuuken don't angry la. I also quite stress already sniff sniff.

    UPDATE

Check this out, just found it.......... H2O ----> HHO???

    • I don't know for sure, but there's sure some differences between Evian and Spritzer mineral water taste/feel. Apart from the obvious price difference, Evian felt better and more soothing.I don't know why.

Anyway, your post not Leng yet..but not Mou also. In the middle. HAAAAARRRRRRR!!!
