One of the Reasons Why We Love Proton
I got these pictures by e-mail today and I thought I'd share it with everyone.
These pictures show us how Proton and the other foreign cars have developed throughout the years.
But in all fairness... Proton hasn't been sitting around doing nothing. Rather than updating their Iswaras and Wiras, they concentrate on new cars... like the Waja, Gen2 and oh lets not forget the lovely Proton Chancellor.
Nevertheless, I can't believe they're still selling the same Proton Wira that they were selling 12 years ago (though it is one of the best Proton's ever built in my opinion).

The only reason I love Proton rather than imported cars is that Proton is cheaper.

proton spent too much on Lotus related stuff...which not everyone of us want to race on the road all day....as what JM of Top Gear said (on Gen 2 review) "I'd gladly trade muh Lotus suspension for Toyota door trims"...
now another thing to ponder, wonder why Toyota? , thought the Germans are better off.... probably not true for now....

MOU
and toyota must have done somthing awfully right when it's the most profitable carmaker in the world
I have to say I would not trade muh celica for any other car unless we're talking about a different standard(i.e. luxury cars), it's just SO reliable :D
3 accidents and the car just needs paintwork, now that's quality
proton = milo tin, 'nuff said :D
