The Rich in London

Almost half of Britain's millionaires live in London so you can imagine that if you take a walk around London on any day you are bound to see cars the like of Ferraris

Bentleys.

Porsches (which are very very common in London... so common you don't even bother looking at them anymore when they crawl past you.)

Seriously. NOBODY BOTHERS LOOKING AT PORSCHES ANYMORE. Look at this picture I took. NOBODY IS LOOKING AT THE PORSCHE PARKED BY THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. In fact.. the poor pedestrian on the left is scratching his head in pain thinking

"OMG NOT ANOTHER PORSCHE AGAIN!!! PLEASE... SHOW US SOMETHING ELSE... A PROTON EVEN!!!"

Ahh... a Proton... the car us Malaysians would rather have

So anyway, where does that put Mercedes and BMWs. Well it depends, if you drive a Mercedes C Class like this...
NOBODY CARES!!!

Heck, even if you drive an X5 like THIS...

NOBODY CARES!!! Look at the people on the street.. none of them even bother looking at the pityful attention-craving BMW X5 however huge it may be.

However, if you drive a Mercedes like this... then... please don't worry... WE WILL ALL SHOW YOU LOVE!!!

But it is important to remember... that if you drive a car like this...


WE LOVE YOU AND WE WANT TO HAVE YOUR BABIES!!!!

So anyway... given the usual sights and sounds London has to offer, you can imagine how shocked when I was walking around London one day and spotted this beautiful Bentley that just got clammed for not paying parking or parking in a non-parking zone. Now its most likely the first reason because CLEARLY the Bentley is parked IN a parking lot.

Now, a Bentley in London costs about GBP 160,000 (RM 1,088,000) and parking by the side of the road for an hour probably costs about GBP 4 (RM 28). So it makes me wonder sometimes, for WHAT REASON would you not PAY the parking when you can afford a Bentley.

Possible Reason Number 1

The rich sonofabitch had no small change (since you need coins to pay on the parking meters). That's right.... RICH PEOPLE DON'T CARRY COINS. ITS JUST TOO HEAVY !!!

Possible Reason Number 2

The rich sonofabitch probably decided it was worth saving that short amount of time he would waste by going to pay for parking at the parking meter.

Possible Reason Number 3

The rich sonofabitch was too lazy to walk to the parking meter.

Possible Reason Number 4

The rich sonofabitch is SM and gets turned on by watching his Bentley get clammed.

Sigh... I will never understand these rich people. As for me... I will return to my tiny flat in London and attend to my little kitchen sink that keeps bubbling up to form a bubble bath whenever I'm not home.

If you look closely... the bubble bath is actually smiling at me...

I have that effect on sinks sometimes...
